Deep Impact’s computer engineered multi-step hull was designed to do two things very well: 1) go fast, and 2) go fast with comfort. The multi-step hull produces nearly 20% more speed and miles per gallon.

Materials

All our hulls are reinforced with resin infused coring. The hullsides are cored with Mantex and Divinicel and then further reinforced with bullet proof Kevlar layers. Beginning in mid-2013, Deep Impact will begin utilizing the resin infusion system for all fiberglass components – beginning with the 399 Series. Infused parts are lighter, stronger, and more consistent, all of which makes a better boat.

Performance

Deep Impact’s 36’ and 39’ models can accommodate up to four 350 HP engines utilizing the most advanced propellers, with speeds in excess of eighty-five miles per hour. Our engine installation team consists of members who have rigged champion offshore racing boats.
